Ideal Weight

Determine your ideal weight according to the Body Mass Index (BMI) method.

The BMI method

BMI became popular as obesity started to become an increasing issue in the Western society. BMI provides a simple measure of a person's "fatness" or "thinness". BMI allows health professionals to discuss over- and under-weight problems more objectively with their patients.
Be aware that BMI is meant to be used as a simple means of classifying physically inactive individuals with an average body composition.
